At the time of writing, if using the Device Default theme, or other variants, a button with an image placed upon it loses the ability to provide touch feedback. Here I show how to add touch feed back to a button with an image in three different ways:

• removing the image

• replacing the image with an orange "blank"

• replacing the image with a black and white version of the image

Of course there are other effects one could apply.

The blinking effect is activated through the use of the button touch down and touch up events
